RESEARCH OVERVIEW

About this compound.

Kisspeptin-10 is the C-terminal decapeptide fragment of the KISS1 gene product. It binds the KISS1R (GPR54) receptor on hypothalamic GnRH neurons and is studied for its role in initiating gonadotropin-releasing hormone signaling, which downstream stimulates LH and FSH from the pituitary in animal models.

FAQ

Common questions.

What does Kisspeptin-10 signal?+

It binds KISS1R (GPR54) on hypothalamic neurons, which is studied for triggering pulsatile GnRH release upstream of the LH/FSH axis.

Is this an LH or FSH product?+

No. Kisspeptin-10 is studied as a hypothalamic signaling peptide upstream of the pituitary. Downstream LH and FSH responses are observed in animal research.
